Guided tour

On Tuesday night, May 13th, at 6 pm or 8 pm, we offer you the opportunity to discover the history of Old-Quebec during a walking tour accompanied by a guide from the Services historiques Six-Associés, which has been active since 2000 in historical communication in all its forms.

During the promenade, your guides will be transformed into remarkable characters right out of the past. Let them guide you around the town's lesser known secret-filled quarters and see them through their olden days' eyes. Travel through history with those who have lived it! Let yourself be touched, amazed and charmed by the customs, unusual facts and little known daily life of the generations that have preceded ours.

The thematic walking tours will finish in a bistro where you will be offered a complementary beverage.

Because places are limited please reserve for your French or English tour, as soon as possible, i.e.: as you register for the Conference.

Tropical buffet on the M/V Louis Jolliet

Come with us for a dinner-cruise in a groovy ambiance! The tropical influenced menu will transport you in a party ambiance and allow you to discover Quebec City from the St-Lawrence River. Once you are done eating, join the dancers on the outside deck to feel the hot rhythms and the drums of the live band.

To get at the boarding point, groups will be organized from the "Château Frontenac" for a 15-minute walk in the streets of the Old Quebec. For the ones who desire, it will be also possible to use the funicular that connects the upper to the lower-town in less than 2 minutes.

Cabs will also be available for those with reduced mobility.

Schedule:

6:30 p.m.: Boarding
8:00 p.m.: Departure
10:00 p.m.: Arrival
10:30 p.m.: Disembarking
